Who we are

Bodyinmotionlife operates from 282 Somerset Street West, Ottawa, ON K2P 0J6. The contact for privacy questions is [email protected] or 613-707-2480. This policy covers the website at bodyinmotionlife.life and the forms on it. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, including the map embed on the contact page.

What we collect

Enquiry forms collect a name, email address, optional phone number, a goal and schedule you select from a list, and a message. The Monday brief form collects an email address and a consent tick. Booking and program files held at the studio may also include a training history, a practitioner letter you gave us, attendance, and loads from the app. We do not ask for a social insurance number, a health-card number, or a business number on this site.

The website sets a small set of cookies to keep pages working and to count visits, described on the cookie page. If you accept or decline the banner, that choice is stored in your browser as bim_cookie. Server logs may include an IP address and a page path for security and uptime. We do not sell lists and we do not buy lists.

How we use it

Enquiry data is used to reply about an assessment, a program, or a workplace quote. Brief data is used to send one Monday email. Program files are used to coach you. Group attendance notes for workplace clients stay at the group level unless a person has given written permission for a named confirmation. We do not use personal information to build a public testimonial, a rating, or a named case study.

Storage and retention

Information is stored in Canada. Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last reply, then deleted or anonymised. Program files for active members stay for the life of the program plus seven years for ordinary business records. Practitioner letters sit in the program file and are not copied to an employer. You may ask for access or a correction by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Sharing

We share information with a practitioner when you have asked us to, with a payment processor when you pay, and with a hosting or email provider bound to process data for us in Canada. We share information if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising networks.

This policy was published in 2026. If it changes in a material way, we will post the new date on this page and, where we still hold an email, send a short note.
